Ingredients:
– 4 Cups Flour
– 2 tsp. baking powder (heaping)
– Pinch salt
– 2 cubes butter
– 1 ¾ Cups sugar
– 4 eggs, separated
– 1 tsp Almond extract
– 1 TBS brandy
– 1 tsp. vanilla extract
– 1 ½ TBS anise seed, crushed
– 1 Cup chopped Maisie Jane’s Almonds
Directions:
- Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks and blend.
- Fold in whipped egg whites.
- Gradually add pre-mixed dry ingredients, blending until mixed.
- Stir in all flavorings.
- Finally, add almonds.
